What an evolving soap opera.

Clem was just an aggressive loan broker who got over-extended before the economy tanked.

Next we find out that Clem dealt with one of the Soderling brothers and used an appraiser who was too crooked to get a license.

Now Clem appears to be willing to deal honestly with the bankruptcy court and start selling off assets.

Can't wait to read what happens next.

I agree with GEE-WIZ. They threw that guy in Windsor in jail for 7 years and he only swindled one million dollars.

Carinalli wanted to use rental money temporarily? Also wants rental income to pay management fees? For what and to whom?

If his business is a corporation he can still demand and receive a salary through the bankruptcy and management fees if he manages the rental property. The creditors committee has some say over compensation but the judge makes the final decision.

Agree. It is fascinating in a true-crime/entertaining/way. I'm also interested in what the next step will be and I'm willing to bet the City Life Church probably made him an offer on that building.

The Mercedes looks like an asset that cost a pretty penny. Maybe if honesty kicks in, he will sell that and get a lower priced one.

The picture of Carinalli driving to the poorhouse in a Mercedes reminded me of a famous photo from the Great Depression. This photo was of a billboard with a picture of a smiling American family driving a new car with the caption "There's no way like the American way". Underneath the billboard is a long line of destitute people waiting for a bowl of soup.

Somehow I doubt that Carinalli is prepared to sell his house, car, or anything else. Am I just an aging cynic?

If there were no clem's in this world, all of us would be broke and worthless as some of us are now, Sitting here talking smack about someone who has done well, and fell upon hard times is stupid...Sure the guy's delt with some crooks, so have most of us... Live like the rest of us ? Working 7-7 and not making ends meet, using next weeks check to pay last months bills...I have seen how most of "us" live...This guy was doing what he did, there are worse than him, and many more exactly like him out there in this world...Look at the government, and many other examples of it....If you want to cry about something, you should write your congressmen...They'll pay attention to you...
People judge too much and assume alot...If only you saw how many people this "crook" employed , directly and in-directly would you then understand how the world turns.Because it is people like this that employ most all of us,, some win and some loose...And never are they all honest and caring, they are out to make money, just like the rest of us...Granted some are more devious than others, but how many rich people have you meet that actually cared about you trying to make a living ? They dont, just like most of dont give a crap about the next guy on the bus, Or driving on the freeway.
Clean the trash outta your yard before you judge the pile of s@*! in your neighbors....
