The cops talk about everyone using hands free but you still see CHP, Sheriff, and Police talking with the phone to the ear. Same old thing there above the law.... Please whats good for the goose is good for the gander

It may not seem right, but the way the new law reads is that police & other emergency services are exempt from the hands free restriction.

Yeah, you're right raider. People are still doing it, but just like the seatbelt law, people resisted it until they had had to pay the fines. Same will happen with the cell phone.

Bigdog---I broke down and bought my handsfree microphone. Retail is $90, but a friend works for AT&T, so I got it for about $45. Still don't really know how to use it, but no tickets for me.

I see people ducking down real low while driving with cellphone stuck to their ear.
It is hilarious.....they think if they lean down low enough, they won't be seen doing it.
Not very safe driving that way... Big Grin

There are people who love the challenge of defying
the law. They do not plan on following this particular law at all. You see these people every where in all cities and towns. They will just pay the fine when caught and keep on defying the law ALWAYS! I am guessing they feel they are above any laws Mad

Way to go purrncats. Sometimes the directions are a little hard to understand, but I'm sure you'll figure it out. If it saves you from getting one ticket, it's paid for itself. I've got a 13 year old grand daughter who does all my high tech stuff for me when I get stuck. Which is pretty regular. Darn smartass kids anyway.

bigdog----No doubt I will have to ask some 16 year old kid to help me figure that cordless, handsfree, microphone/speakerphone gadget out!
