On the MOST part people are responsible and not wasteful or inherently pollutants. To not acknowledge that the ebbs and flows of the earths climate goes from hot to cold historically is simply ludicrous. Everyone who feels the need, I appreciate you walking, running, riding your bike, or riding your horses to work and around to where you need to go. But, don't expect me to give up my car this winter or my fireplace to keep my family warm. What a bunch of hype, most are hypocrites flying their private planes and driving around in their limo's and big SUV's. HELLO ARNOLD and MARIA, start walking will you, stop telling law abiding citizens how to live their lives!

About 75 people attended the Santa Rosa event, sponsored by the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition and Climate Protection Campaign's Cool Schools 350 Challenge program.

Wow, a whole 75 people. I suppose it's these people whom the county is representing with it's policies. How can so many people be so damn stupid and egotistical. Earth's weather system has cycled without people for billions of years. The result has led to thousands of previous ice ages.

It would be laughable, if it were not so economically damaging, that these politicians think they can stop a natural force like weather patterns. Don't these dipshits remember Sri Lanka when a wave killed hundreds of thousands. Or Katrina that devastated New Orleans. It's obvious that even with our huge advances in our attempts to master our world. We are still just a tiny part of the planet and are powerless against its true power. Save the planet they say? Yeah right.

People basically are sheep and need a cause to justify their lives. But on the good side it does gets kids to exercise and learn how to use the washing machine. Smile

I think its nice that these members from the dependent class have it all figured out for the rest of us. Maybe when they have to pay rent (or mortgage), pay for their food, and become members of the productive class, they would have a little bit of credibility. On a separate note, it is also nice that the PD is acknowledging religion this Sunday.

Does'nt anyone teach these kids about personal hygiene? The way our youth behave and appear is appalling! God help us! They are indocrtinated 24/7. They behave like wild animals. They look like hell.

News flash:
Plants are dying at alarming rates!
Scientists are in agreement it is due to the sudden lack of carbon dioxide necessary for photosynthesis.
They are citing environmental extremisms as the main culprit; sudden reductions are causing wide spread panic amongst the plant communities...More at eleven!

Funny that you mention New Orleans. New Orleans only got so much focus because of it's populace, and remember Nagin called it a "Chocolate City".
Mississippi got much worse damage and destruction. One of my cousins who still lives there could only identify where her home had been by the remains of her mailbox. The house and it's slab were gone!
Her little Brothers house was the same, except he stepped on a body in the mud near his. Eeker
Got to love how those 4th (5th? 10th? ???) generation chocolate welfare recipients can play up their ignorance and victimization to the drooling liberal press.
My cousins came West, bought RV's and drove them back and began rebuilding. Didn't ask for, nor wait around for FEMA, or any other help.
Just picked up and started over and helped their neighbors do the same.
New Orleans is a cesspool they have to keep pumped out. Gee, if you live in a hole, and what happens when it rains?
Might the hole get full of water? Duh!

If each of those 75 people were each to plant 75 trees and if all their eco-friends would do the same the CO2 level would likely drop and we wouldn't have an issue with CO2 now.

Speak2Truth-mar has a good point.

Have you guys ever seen the film, "The Man Who Planted Trees"? Powerful film about repairing a wrecked ecosystem.

But, to ensure one is reducing CO2 in the atmosphere, one must harvest the trees when they mature. Then plant new ones. Logging makes a positive impact on atmospheric CO2 but don't expect the "enviro-nazis" to admit it.

Just to re-iterate what I wrote on another thread, the PD won't cover anything when conservatives have their protests.

Remember this?

The PD and the entire CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, etc did not cover it.
