While I agree that SR home prices are high and BH ones will be higher, he's probably going to make over 200k. I'm sure he'll find a home to buy. There's been a huge markdown in prices of homes in the LA area, including BH, Malibu, SM areas.

I respect your opinion, but he's still going to have a tough time qualifying. Currently the average listing in Beverly Hill is $4.28 Million. The Median Sales price is $1.2 Million.
Even at 1.2 mil, he'll need $240K down (if he's got that in his SR house), and his payments will be around $6000/mo PLUS property taxes that will add another $1500+ per month.

Bottom line, he probably won't qualify at $200k per year. Don't forget the new cars (minimum BMW 5 series at $50K) plus another new one for the wifee. Welcome to effing Beverly Hills.

Bottom line - people who make $200k per year don't live in Beverly Hills. Basically you need $500K + to afford the lifestyle.

WOW... big news... Repugnican elected governors. Who cares after the beating you took in the NATIONAL ELECTIONS just a year ago? I guess this is exciting news if you're a Repugnican.

As for Glenn Beck, et al. They dumb down the information just enough for you to buy into what they're selling. They get rich, you get badly misinformed, but you just keep on drinking the koolaid. They love your kind. Slooooooow and steady, afraid to ask important questions, easy to rally with rhetoric. Kind of reminds you of Germany in the 1920's - 1945.

Good riddance...where's he going to get the money to live in Beverly Hills....that's easy from all the deals he made while City Mgr in SR.
