Go get em boys! And kill the trespassing illegals while you are at it. It's not o.k. that people can't go hiking, biking, and wheeling on federal and state lands without having to be concerned about getting killed by people who shouldn't be here to begin with.

Two words, Agent Orange!

Ya, cancer, heart disease, diabetes and deformed kids is less harmful than the weed (sarcasm intended). Read this: Link |

Whats the point, the Obooba administration is making it one step easier to be legal.

I know lots of people that are fine with growing for personal use, but are freaked out about the criminal gangs growing pot on their land, leaving garbage, pesticides, animal traps and intimidating residents. What to do?
If a high THC pot plant gets pollinated, it lowers the potency content dramatically. Maybe residents can grow low grade rope hemp as a defensive measure, or law enforcement can sprinkle the low THC hemp pollen over growing areas. Worth a try? |
Yeah....lets get right on that. Grow some weed as a defensive measure agaist high THC weed and then we'll pay the County to fly around in Henry-1 with some moron former SRJC Biology teacher know-it-all, on the public dole, sprinkling pixie dust. We'll use the gold from the end of the rainbow to pay for it. |

Breaking the record just means that the so-called "war on drugs" is losing. It really means that the rate of production is way way up.
When is this insane 'war' on moral behavior going to end? Half the people in jail are there because of victimless crime laws. I hope I get called for jury duty for a drug case: I will nullify that jury. |
I question if you would get past the bailiff with that oldfactory.
Half the people in jail should have been shot by the Sherriff when he had the chance. |
Hopefully you'll be thrown in prison when that happens. Terrorist. |

That's pretty funny. What's not funny is the fiscally liberal and offensive drug war. We pay taxes to the feds under contract (constitution) in exchange for security of a "Republican form of government" and protection "against invasion". In reality we are getting a mutt democracy/socialist oppression coupled with the end of U.S. sovereignty. The feds stiffed the American people long ago and have since just been continuing the extortion. The fact that people cheer a 180,000 inmate CA prison system, half of which are convictions for possession is troublesome. If you are not the type to get all emotional over 90,000 Californian's being enslaved for a personal choice that hurts no one. Then at least consider the fiscal implications of a 30 year fruitless domestic war. |

And water run either dowhill, or into some aquifer, so in the logrun You'll not only be killing-off all the wildlife, and fish, but eventually Yourself,by drinking the water. But i've thought that if the dEA was serious about this They'd buy a few tons of commercial hemp pollen from Canada, and just spray the prime growing spots in the state. To most Buyers, seeded pot is'nt a desireable, and would be a real financial setback to the Cartels. And the seeds from that would be crossed with cannabis with a very low level of THC, so it's next years harvest would be garbage...probably great for rope though. |

Noble ideals and bad ideas.
Prohibition Johnson's War on Poverty Nixon's War on Drugs All have proven to be grossly ineffective and in fact turned out to be corruption, crime and misery incubators. I have personally never tried the stuff because I had enough problems with tobacco addiction in my life. Pot wasn't popular back in the day when I was of the vulnerable age or I probably (most likely) would have tried it. The more subtle approach seems to have worked with tobacco wherein the users have taken on pariah status and there are fewer and fewer places where smokers can indulge their addiction. I sure don't know what the answer is but hope that some variation of the tobacco model will eventually come about. Nobody goes to jail for having a bottle of gin in the house or buying a pack of cigarettes. Both are heavily taxed, addictive and generally without benefit to society or the individual. Still, the jails and prisons aren't aren't full of "users". The Chinese, at one point in their history had to take on the opium problem. Large segments of the population were lying around in opium dens, gooned to the eyeballs and useless for any worthwhile purpose. They kicked out the British and the East Coast "China Traders" whose fortunes were amassed in the China trade (the Delanos and Kerrys for example)and simply put a stop to it. No doubt it wasn't an easy task. I'm not sure how they did it, nor do I believe that the "Boxer Rebellion" model would necessarily work here. Somebody smarter than I will have to figure it out (or not). |

Legalizing dope isn't the answer. There is a reason it is called dope. Do you get my drift?
I get it and so did the Chinese. Singapore has no drug problem. Remember the story of the young Aussie bloke who was hanged for having some weed in his backpack? There must be a better way. I just don't know what it is. |

What was the cost to Tax Payers for this 4.4 million plant victory. Millions ? $$$ Billions ?
Can we afford this kind of victory ?? My father was a boot legger back in the late 20's- early 30's. He told me that when Prohibition ended, it put him out of business. For the 40 years of of my adult life, { 20-60 } I have had such trouble figuring out why politicians can not learn from history !! Make Marijuana legal and all this will end !! It is legal for you to make your own wine, beer and hard liquor now--but how many are doing it ?? American people are lazy. When Phillip Morris puts marijuana in a package with a filter on it, this growing in the hills with guns stuff will end. Put a tax on it. Between the tax and what we would save in fighting it--maybe some real crime fighting could be funded. |
