Update: First Lady Now Requires 26 Servants “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it” —Albert Einstein “In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much,” she said. “See, that’s why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service, “ Michelle Obama No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn’t perform any official duties. But this hasn’t deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession. Just think Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary. How things have changed! If you’re one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Miz Michele are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by John Q. Public: 1. $172,2000 - Sher, Susan (CHIEF OF STAFF) 2. $140,000 - Frye, Jocelyn C. How many to straighten her hair every day? I always wondered why the black ladies are so mouthy about their "heritage", yet work so hard to lighten and straighten their hair, even to the point of wearing wigs to appear other than what they are. Why is that? Does not make sense.

That's so they don't get stuck to stucco.
But hey, this had to come by way of the Canadian Free Press. Not even FOX would disclose it. (To my knowledge) |

Funny, one of your park buddies was just kvetching about "cut & paste & copyright infringement". :: crickets chirping :: Well, turnabout is fair play. From About.com: URBAN LEGENDS Analysis: True enough, if you count the White House Social Secretary and her various deputies, First Lady Michelle Obama has a paid staff of at least 22 people, according to the 2009 Annual Report to Congress on White House Staff. However, this politically motivated screed overstates the case when it characterizes Michelle Obama's staff as "attendants" and "lackeys" who "cater to her every whim." It further exaggerates when it refers to the total number of staffers as "unprecedented." Nearly all of these positions were established during previous administrations. For example, First Lady Laura Bush oversaw a staff of 18 (not "one," as alleged in the email) during 2008, the final year of the George W. Bush administration, with positions and salaries roughly comparable to those in the Obama White House: First Lady Laura Bush Staff & Salaries 2008 1. $172,200 - McBride, Anita B (Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to the First Lady) 2. $147,500 - Medina, Sonya E (Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and Director of Projects for the First Lady) 3. $113,000 - Zantzinger, Amy S (Special Assistant to the President and White House Social Secretary) 4. $102,000 - Armstrong, Sara W (Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff to the First Lady) 5. $102,000 - Niemiec, Sally M (Special Assistant to the President and Director of Communications and Press Secretary to the First Lady) 6. $88,500 - Miller, Sonja Maria (Deputy Chief of Staff to the First Lady 7. $78,400 - Ballard, Deanna M (Director of Scheduling for the First Lady) 8. $63,000 - McArthur, Nikki L (Speech Writer for the First Lady) 9. $62,700 - Knutson, Lindsey L (Special Assistant and Personal Aide to the First Lady) 10. $62,400 - Marshall, Misty C (Director of Correspondence for the First Lady) 11. $57,500 - Adams, Julie E (Deputy Press Secretary to the First Lady) 12. $53,000 - Mende, Kirstin M (Deputy Director of Policy and Projects for the First Lady) 13. $52,200 - Thornton, Dorothy M (Deputy Social Secretary) 14. $52,200 - Etter, Marisa Leigh (Deputy Director of Scheduling for the First Lady) 15. $52,200 - King, Kristin N (Deputy Director of Advance for the First Lady) 16. $47,000 - Segura, Millicent (Deputy Director of Correspondence for the First Lady) 17. $43,000 - Miller, Kasdin E (Assistant Press Secretary to the First Lady) 18. $41,800 - O'Connor, Erin M (Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff to the First Lady) -- A lie told often enough becomes the truth. ~ Vladimir Lenin |

Anxiously awaiting your next cut and paste project you silly little girl.....hurry, we're waaaiiiiiting. |

Ah, but you see,Kathleen, your little tin despot We do understand that once you climb up out of the ghetto you can get a bit jaded with all the money stolen from taxpayers and how many ways to spend it becomes a bit of a burden. I guess that's what Michelle is trying to do. Do have to admit she needs all the help she can get to keep her belly fat disguised, so those cute little outfits can get expensive. But, it sure does not fulfill her hubby's campaign lies promises to spend OUR money playing queen. |
I thought mis.anthropos was Kathleen, but then it could have been Jen82. Queens of the web search.

Doesn't really matter who she/it is. They all sound the same because they all get their copy/paste/cartoons from the same sources. Also, they are all illiterate to some degree. Ask them to explain their viewpoint they can't, just post more silly cartoons. You see, that is why they were so easily led down that yellow brick road...no thinking needed, just listen to the master and repeat what he tells you. Thus, when we ask simple questions about their agenda, we get cartoons or silence. No substance, just lock-step behind the puppet Meister.

If Bozo was actually fulfilling his duty as President and especially as Commander in Chief, I wouldn't care if they hired the entire population of Washington to service the First Lady. However we're spending millions of dollars we don't have to cater to these radical figureheads, while Rome burns and our enemies are planning how they're going to carve up the spoils.

Shallowhillgal,
To disagree with politics is one thing, but your racism and name calling is very telling about what kind of person you are. What a miserable person you must be. |
Not in the least little mimi. The term racist lost it's punch long ago, thanks to you and your cronies. Rave on! |
Sure you are. Take you out of it and read what you write and the words that you choose. There's not other explanation for how you choose to get your views across. SAD
Your party and your little tin god are the biggest racists on this planet. Obama is doing his best to divide this country into his color "scheme" and it's working. Enjoy the ride! |
You criticize Hill for her views and call her a racist but you worship a man who spent twenty years of his life listening to Rev Wright preach hatred against all Jews, homosexuals and white people. Liberals are hypocrites, plain and simple. |
I would honestly add Stupid Hypocrites to that, heaveybuddy. Not only did they make a huge mistake, they can't admit it and begin to correct it. I believe they truly do hate the very land they live in. Because they work so very hard at destroying it. Sad, sick, little fcuks. |
