I am very upset that as a hard working American that a good amount of my taxes are going to fund illegal immigrants in this country...Why should I have to pay for their medical and other benefits they receive...It is time for our Sonoma Elected Officials to start doing something about the illegal immigrant problem we face in this community...I am all for families that are working hard and taking care of their families...But it is not this country's responsibility to provide employment to everyone in the world...I have spent 20 of my 40 years working overseas legally and not being a burden to that country I was in...My wife is an immigrant that came over her on her own legally and went through the proper and legal process to get here...It offends her that she didn't receive any of these benefits that Mexicans seem to enjoy!...If offends me!!!...When I see illegals walking down the street with babies when they are so young themselves and knowing that my taxes probably paid for that child when I had to pay for mine to be born through paying $600.00 a month in medical insurance for my family and then paying the co-pay and other costs that my insurance didn't cover; when I have to pay a good percentage to Uncle Sam and the State out of my wages...I am offended our local govt would even consider making Sonoma County a refuge for illegal immigrants!...You are only going to create more problems within this community....

Why are you all creating new threads for this? There is already a thriving thread on this issue. Feel free to join it. I don't have time to bring up 100+ threads to read your thoughts so basically just gonna ignore what you have to add.
Unless I'm missing something here .. like you can't see that thread or it closed or something?
