If you read the article fellow Republicans have a real problem with her wanting a speaking fee. I agree with them. Someone like Sara, who most definitely will be a political player in the near future, shouldn't be demanding speaking fees at all at these types of functions.

I really doubt she cares what either you or I have to say but I see my satire had a big effect on you. Keep taking your blood pressure meds my friend - I'm afraid you may stroke out if you keep staying in the R&R forum.

Why do you have a problem with Capitalism??? If she was not in demand, people would not pay. Is that a problem for you or do you think everyone should have their salary adjusted by the new pay czar marxist?

2. I have no clue what a scientific theory is.

3. I believe that oral sex is a punishable offense and that a sitting President should be impeached for it.

4. I believe that Osama Bin Laden is a fictional character concocted by the liberal media in order to make George W. Bush look bad. After all, everybody knows that is was gays and women who somehow blew up the World Trade Center.

5. I believe that “liberal college professors” are brainwashing America’s youth, but in reality I'v never even set foot on a 4-year college campus.

6. I blame liberals for a “failed education system”, but am at a complete loss to explain how some of the most ultra-conservative Republican states (Alabama, Mississpi, and Georgia) consistenly rank dead last in national literacy tests, and high school students in the most liberal blue states such as Massachusetts and Connecticut rank the highest in national aptitude tests in reading, math, and science.

7. I was too cowardly to enlist in the military, but believe that placing a yellow magnet on my SUV somehow makes me a “patriot”

Any more questions??

California is 47 out of fifty in education pal, conservative or liberal. And it was Jimmy Carter who made it possible. After all, it was Jimmy Carter who did a favor for the NEA by getting their members to support Carter. Just how do you think that our great Department of Education was created?

In the meantime let the debate continue about her qualifications; even though she doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of becoming potus. Link

Finally someone I agree with who isn't being a total dickhead and pretending like Obama is the most qualified person for the job he got.

Thank you.

Though I am not for Palin as President, I think that Obama is a total failure and has an anti-business agenda that is hurting this country. No one wants to admit that it was primarily the Government and the Fed that really got us into this mess, based on a perception of lending practices that did not exist.

Were home prices out of whack in certain areas of the country? Yes, but not because of the federal government. Mostly they were out of whack because a group of people acting in a fascist manner thought they had a right to tell property owners what they could do with their property.

But, that is all another economic story. Community organizers like Obama use those circumstances to create a political career, because they are better at exploiting people and government then they are at being productive members of society. And, in the process, they enable corruption to grow through organizations like ACORN and others.

Palin is the opposite. She truly does want to do good, but she is no more qualified then Obama was or is. They are both nothing more then gimmicks to put one party or the other into power. Time to dismantle those machines and get back to the people. The conservatives are starting to open their eyes to this, let's see if those among us who call themselves liberals will do the same, or continue to select their candidates through the machine as they have.

Hillgal - another good excuse/justification; "Why you just picking on me - everyone else is doing it" response Typical.

Capt. I just knew you wouldn't get it (see number 9 on my second post on page 3 of what makes me a loyal Rep)

Capt - No problem with capitalism here - not sure how this came up in your mind or Hillgal's. BTW are you to an item? Pretty flirty in your posts.

Anyway, Palin is not in demand, at least for the price she wants, as mainstream Republicans will not pay her fee. If she can get it good for her, but there doesn't seem to be much interest or demand by anyone other than the bottom base of the party and these folks barely have any money for banjo strings much less than to hear a rogue ex-vice presidential candidate.

Some price adjustment in her speaking fees perhaps? When she has had some more political success she may be able to make that kind of money but for now the former Mayor of a small backwoods town in Alaska, a losing vp candidate, and a Governor who could not complete her first term needs to polish her political chops some more. But again, I don't think she gives a rat's ass what I think.

"Typical" of what????? I do think you have gone off the deep end here trying to find something to bitchabout. Whatever blows your dress up, I guess. I really fail to see why you have a burr under your saddle when it comes to what I post or how I do so. Most people copy and paste articles so they don't have to go to a link to read it. Some will not go to a link and prefer the information to be posted here so they can read it. As for your stupid statement about me using "copyrighted material"...you are really off base. If it's a news item, it can be copied/pasted/used/printed/quoted or otherwise used. If they don't want you to copy it, you can't right click on the item. OK? All better now?
I do not require your permission for what or how I post here.

nor did this guy

Headline: NBC Polls / Ford / Reagan
Abstract:

(Studio) NBC News poll of 48 Republican party chairperson shows 70% favor Ford, 16% favor Reagan for Republican 1976 mom. "What America Thinks" program announced. 51% of public, in another poll, rate Ford good in job. 32% of those polled believe Congress doing good job.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

cnn

A year before the election, polls predicted Reagan would defeat Mondale in 1984, Bush would defeat Dukakis in 1988, Clinton would beat Dole in 1996, Bush would defeat Gore -- by 16 points! -- in 2000 and Bush would beat Kerry in 2004.

The year-before polls got it wrong twice. In 1979, the polls predicted Carter would beat Reagan. And in 1991, they predicted the first President Bush would defeat Bill Clinton.

In both cases, voters a year out expected the president to get re-elected.

Hillgal - Just because it is a news article does not make it public domain. All news articles are copywrited by their owners - in this case Fox News. Legit news organizations, including Fox News, have a "terms of use" policy which prohibits your conduct and is a violation of copywrite laws. It does allow you to have the material for personal use only but specifically prohibits copying or reposting unless written permission is obtained first. You are in violation of their terms of use. I was more than willing to let it go but you kept pressing the issue with your usual self-righteous attitude and lame excuses. I told you - you didn't believe me and failed to even check if what I was saying was in fact true. You were even so arrogant as to say you can do anything you want, therefore your post was reported to Fox news and the PD as a TOU violation.

Here is their terms of use agreement posted on their website. Pay particular attention to paragraph 2, 5&6

Too bad, because for awhile I took him at face value, but when personal attacks started, I realized I was dealing with someone with a mental illness. Some posters are "out there" right from the start and are easily identifiable, but others like kenk take awhile to spot because they can fake it for awhile. But, as is usual with mental illness, it can't stay hidden and eventually manifests itself.
Ah well, now I won't have to waste time trying to reason with the impossible.

Hahaha that's funny. Sadly some of that is true.
