Susan Gorin, Veronica Jacobi and the entire idiotic board LOVES low income housing. In THIS economy! It's all for illegals.
And get this, MORE coming to Fountaingrove! GLBT "senior" housing and another one for the "school district" employees. WHY DO WE WORK HARD TO LIVE IN FOUNTAINGROVE then? WHY? So they can give this away? Rewading the scofflaws? That's what they'll turn into! And they need to STOP GIVING OUR MONEY AWAY TO THIS SCAM! |

Why do we we keep voting for liberal"safe the kitty cat"liberals? The big question who is going to replace them in next election? Who would you vote for?
Keep screaming until the revolution starts! Best.. Big Fish |

Outside of the Sleepy Hollow area, that my grandparents contracted and built (my grandfather's distinct gardening and architectural style is still there to this day, God bless his soul), most of Fountain Grove was built illegally to begin with. I wish I didn't mind, but it's not supposed to be there and I agree with that. It was entirely against Santa Rosa's urban plan and runs completely contrary to Sonoma County growth policy. Still, I would much rather see it return to its natural state than become panelaks (Eastern European slang for crappy communist concrete buildings). We shouldn't just pave over everything lest we become the next San Jose. I don't think anyone wants that.
It does not belong there, but building projects clearly isn't the solution, either. There has to be a medium. Whoever bought my grandparents' place still keep it identical to how it was originally built, however. It literally brought a tear to my eye the first time I saw it, after a 25 year absence. They received a very nice letter and bottle of wine. |

Why do only rich people get to live in the nice, safe neighborhoods? I don't think the oldies and school workers are going to start any trouble... besides, i'm positive there's already scarier people than that living there, even if there hidden behind their mercedes and their white picket fence. "Sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you." |

What? Make your OWN MONEY to live there! Make your OWN neighborhoods safe. Stop relying on government HANDOUTS libiot! I'm not here to make YOUR life better. Work hard and get up there yourself jealous libtard. |

I agree it is not up to the government to make sure you live in a safe neighborhood it up to the people who live there. If you want the government to support you then go to Cuba. It is not up to society to take care of you either. Actually if I have to keep paying for all the people who are here illegally and all the people who played instead of worked I will have to move out of the state. Why should I have worked all my life to make sure a bunch of bum's have a better life than me.

Something else to consider. Developers often tout to councils that they are going to include 'low income housing' but when push comes to shove, once the permits are issued they opt to use a frequently built in 'buy out option' to then NOT offer low income...it's a ploy to get the permits they might otherwise be denied.

Your right most of the low income housing is going to illegals. To stop this we need to go after the buninesses who employ the illegals, file complaint's with the justice dept.about the interference with inter state commerance in housing due to the illegals and the buniness owners who encourage their illegal invasion of our country.File your complaint's with every police agency you can, make them give writen response to you, forcing them to explain why you are denied the protection of law.
